“But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, who are too little to be among the clans of Judah, from you shall come forth for me one who is to be ruler in Israel, whose coming forth is from of old, from ancient days.”
Merry Christmas and God bless you! What a wonderful time of year this is. There really is no other time like it. So many things make this season special, the lights, food, decorations, music, and good cheer that are all around. However, above all, this season is special because of the very special person that is celebrated. It can be easy to get caught up in our to-do lists and excitement (or stress) and forget why we are celebrating. It is so important to make time in the busyness to celebrate Jesus and give Him the glory and honor that He deserves. Jesus sat at the right hand of the Father and was filled with His power and glory, but He chose to empty Himself of that in order that one day we might stand in the presence of the Lord. The more I think about the sacrifices Jesus made from the time of His birth, the more in awe I am of Him. Christmas is also a huge blessing because it gives us as believers a big open door to talking about the Good News with those around us. I challenge you to use those opportunities to the best of your ability, don’t let this chance pass. Our Circuit Riders around the world are sharing the story of the birth of Jesus to children and people who may have never heard it before. Many of them will teach their Sunday Schools through the holidays, even on Christmas Day. Please keep them in your prayers as you go through this season. Pray that they will be continually filled with the joy of the Lord and that their joy will spread to others. Thank you so much for the wonderful support you are continually giving. We are so thankful for you. Merry Christmas!

I thank God for taking care of me always, for every time I travel to this place and for the opportunity to visit the neighborhood. Lita is 12 years old and she likes to listen and obey the teacher. She is not messy and has courage to memorize the alphabet. During the Bible lesson, Lita listens well and she can answer questions. Sometimes she reads the story from the Bible too. Lita also learned how to respect her parents. Now she’s received Jesus in her heart. Kham is 12 years old. Observing him, he is small but obedient and focuses on studying. He can memorize some of the words and has courage to answer as well. During the Bible lesson Kham listens well and raises his hand to answer questions. He can memorize the verses, have joy in learning and he also believed in Jesus. Sokya is 11 years old, he likes to sing action songs and dance. Sokya likes to listen to the Bible story and can recite the alphabet. He also accepted Jesus in his heart and his family. His knowledge about God increased. He likes to memorize the verses and likes spending time talking to the teacher. Pray for the kids that God would give them wisdom and strength, for their parents to allow them to come and for the salvation of this country.
