“For You, Lord, have made me glad through Your work; I will triumph in the works of Your hands.” Psalm 92:4
We are grateful for your faithful support and so blessed by what God is doing through the ministry of MSSM. Pray for the Circuit Riders to have wisdom, good health and safety on the roads. We have just put our concept motorcycle the Lesson, on the road. We appreciate your prayers that this ministry will be successful in raising up more Sunday schools.

At this location God is doing great things. Lombodzi is occupied mainly by the Yao Tribe which means many people are Muslim. It is so interesting how God is touching the hearts of the Muslim community and they are coming each week for Sunday School and to hear about God. They are all growing and actively participating in all the classes. This Sunday School has been going on for 3 years now and we are beginning to see people come to Christ.
The kids parents (who are Muslim) are beginning to realize that their child is a Christian and are not making them go the mosque for teaching. Because of this, many of the Muslim leaders have been very upset that the kids are going to Sunday School instead to their classes. The Muslim leaders were commanding the parents to forbid their children from going to Sunday School and go to Madras (Muslim Religion Classes for Children). God has had his hand over this situation all along and the kids are denying going to Madras and continuing to attend Sunday School. Please continue to pray for this situation as we are beginning to face it in some other locations. Each week we have over 130 kids come for Sunday
School classes. In literacy class this month we have been going through the alphabet letters and thinking of word that start with a particular letter. We are also practicing saying the sound and writing words. Their favorite song to sing this month was called “Bye-Bye Satan”. In Sunday School many of the kids are actively participating by asking question, volunteering to pray, retelling the story and inviting their friends to come.
We really praise the Lord for this location and lives that are beginning to change. Many of the kids are now Christians and denying to worship Muhammad and only worship Christ.

Each week we have over 50 kids attend Sunday School classes. In literacy class we have been learning four letter words. Many of the kids are continuing to learn and progress in literacy and we are praising the Lord for that. This month we have 3 decisions for Christ! We had a boy named, Yallani who is a troubled kid. This month he has been coming every week and God has been transforming his heart through the lessons we taught. He is a really needy orphan and we have been encouraging him in his spiritual walk. We have seen a difference in his attitude and he also just decided to start school for the first times. The kids rally enjoy playing games after Sunday school. They love the jump ropes.

We are happy to report about the successes of MSSM Sunday School in Kawiya. We praise the Lord for what he has done and what he will be doing. In many other locations we have struggled with Teacher’s Training, but here the Lord has really
blessed us with many adult volunteers who are currently going through training. It has been a process teaching them the different responsibilities as a teacher, but they are beginning to catch on quickly. At first they went through the whole training and still were understanding anything we had taught, so we decided to start all over from the beginning and retrain them. One thing we were really excited about what the chief who came to Sunday School one week. He didn’t participate but at least he came. In literacy class we have been learning four letter words. We have about 30-50 kids attend each week. The kids favorite game to play was Animal Sounds. We will continue to ask for your prayers as we continue to serve in this location. Pray for spiritual growth among the kids, protection as we are traveling and for our Sunday school to have an increase in attendance.

We thank God each day for this location in Madzumbi to be able to have the opportunity to have Sunday School. It indeed is a big help and encouragement to the people of this village. The Sunday School is going good and we are having many children and adults attend each week. We just found out the people were coming to Teachers Training because they thought that this training allowed
them to preach in their church. We explained to them the importance and purpose of Teacher’s Training and now they understand. Many of them asked if they can start Sunday School at their churches, and we encouraged it! Elena, one of the women who has been coming now started a Sunday School at her church that she is in charge of. We also have another man named Christopher who is Muslim. He is just recently gave his life to Christ after committing adultery. We praise God that he is changing lives and bringing the adults in to help in this ministry. The lessons we taught this month have really challenged many of the kids in their lives. Many of them were causing problems and not paying attention. We have noticed a difference in those kids and we praise the Lord because of it. Please continue to pray for this location the kids will continue to grow closer and closer to go every minute of the day.

We first of all want to praise the Lord for making it possible to reach the village of Mpango with the Word of God and the doors he has already opened. This community is full of witchcraft and cults. We had one girl who’s guardians told her she needed to go see the witch doctor and she denied. So the guardian had the witch doctor come and get her. The doctor put curses upon her and that day
she fell and broke her leg. The next day the facilitators saw and wondered what had happened to this little girl. They pulled her aside and that is when they were told the story. She was very frightened but told the facilitators that she accepted Christ and she knew that God would never leave her. Her name is Mimi and she is 13 years old. Many parents are telling their kids not come and that it is just a waste of time. The kids love Sunday School and continue to come regardless what their family tells them. The kids come to literacy class and immediately want to sing an English song. They love the fact that they are able to learn a new language and sing a song in a new language. Please continue to pray for this location as we face many challenges as facilitators and as the kids are facing struggles in their personal life.

This location is another one of our favorite to come to each week. It is a good place to minister as the people are always willing to listen (even when they don’t want to hear). Each week we have children come with their family and friends. In Chimkuyu, the people are always on time and that shows us that they are eager and willing to learn.
We have many people come to Sunday School who believe many different things. Some are Muslim, Jehovah Witness’s and different denominations of churches. This causes conflict sometimes. As soon as we say Jesus, the Muslim people get offended, don’t pay attention and cause distractions for those who want to hear the Word of God. It seems like a simple problem but God is working in the lives of the people here and we know that he will fight against anything trying to hinder the ministry. We are praising god that they continue to come back week after week, even though it might cause problems. In literacy class we have between 30-40 people attend each week. This month we have been learning about sliding constants. The first lesson the kids had no idea what we were trying to teach them. The next week they started understanding it better and by the end of the month they did excellent. Please continue to pray for this location and the battle we face each week with the Muslim community.
We trust you enjoyed this report. What a blessing it is to see how the Lord is changing hearts and lives!
Be Blessed,
Mrs. Linda Maher
