Dear Sponsors of the He Lives Circuit,
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come” 2 Corinthians 5:17.
This month we want to praise God for being the author and perfecter of our Faith. God has blessed the MSSM ministry with open doors for the gospel all over the world and he has now made it possible for the brand new Circuit to start running and producing eternal fruit. We are excited to give you the first reports from your Sunday Schools. God is already moving through these Sunday Schools, the old is passing away and a new hope has been brought to these people who are lost a looking for a light in the darkness of their country. We can’t wait to see the amazing things that will happen through this Circuit.
KINGDOM GROWTH SUNDAY SCHOOL
We have already started to see the hand of God working through this Sunday School. The MSSM program has truly been a blessing to those that attend classes and we are grateful to the Lord for sending us this incredible ministry. Many people came and talked to us after the classes, they told us they really want to do Literacy Classes but the day we have them is a busy day at work for them. Two children came to us later, one of them is named Sergio, they said that they regretted not attending classes and would like to. We were given a public school building to run the program in and the principal told us not to worry even when the school is starting, we can always continue the program there. The kids here are very good at memorizing verses, there are already 20 kids that know all the 40 verses. 127 people attended Sunday School this past month, Praise our Lord and Savior who provides all things for us. Thank you also for making it possible for the light of the gospel to come to this very dark and needy village.
THE WORD ON WHEELS SUNDAY SCHOOL
We have started to see the moving of the Holy Spirit in the hearts of people who come to Sunday School here. The program is running very smoothly. All of the students here have received Jesus as their personal Savior and have said they will start going to church. We were so blessed by the people giving sugar cane and oranges as an offering this last month, we are seeing them learn the need for giving back to God. We had 86 people attend Literacy classes and 31 come to Sunday School. One lady was so excited about the work going on that she fed our two Circuit Riders chicken and rice. She saw her kids were very happy at the teaching we give here and wanted to bless them as well. Your prayers and support are appreciated, and we thank God for your generosity towards the sharing of God’s love.
HE LIVES SUNDAY SCHOOL
The people here were so happy about the program. 30 have committed to memorizing the Word through Quizzing. They love to memorize God’s Word and are thankful that the ministry has come to teach them freely. We are excited about the students that are truly committed to learning the Bible, but we need your prayers for an issue that has come up. We were so surprised that very few were coming to classes. We asked the reason why, and we were told that there are people who do not like the MSSM program being here because they say we are going to dig up ‘black sand’ (some kind of precious stones) Some adults have refrained their kids from coning, and there is a village who said we cannot enter into their territory. Some people from the village want the classes but we are afraid of the consequences that could follow. Please lift this situation up in your prayers, we know God is in control and will provide. TELLING THE TRUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL
The Lord is doing incredible things so early on in the opening of this Sunday School. We are blown away by how fast the program has taken effect in our community. The principle of the local public primary school said that he is interested in attending Phonics classes, we pray he does. There were quite a few adults that attended Literacy classes, but they were so shy about it and just kept to themselves. After hearing the Sunday School lesson they all received Jesus as their personal Savior and they said from now on they will go to church; none of them have ever gone prior to their conversion. Later on a child came and said that there are some more adults that would like to learn, so one of the Circuit Riders went and taught them. They were so excited, they told us that they have really struggled not knowing how to write and read, and they are grateful that someone took time to teach them. The numbers of attendance have increased rapidly, we are a bit overwhelmed with 120 children and 17 adults. We are so excited about the work that is happening here and request your prayers as we are seeing more and more come to Christ through this program. Praise and honor and glory to God.
SEAN DENNIS MEMORIAL SUNDAY SCHOOL
Numbers here are steadily growing and growing, and we have even been blessed to teach 3 adults Literacy. As people learn more about the program here and what MSSM is, we have seen attendance for the Literacy classes has start to pick up, and Sunday School attendance is also growing; Literacy class, 5 and Sunday School, 23. Your prayers are needed as we are striving to get the good news of the gospel into the hearts of the people around here. BETHEL SUNDAY SCHOOL
As the ministry of MSSM get’s established here we are seeing lives changed as a result of the work. So far there are few that have shown interest in Literacy classes, this is due to the unfamiliarity with what it is. We are praying that as we begin to teach the program on a regular basis more and more people will come to classes. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will convict the people here about their need for salvation. As the MSSM program begins to grow we are excited to see the lives changed and hearts transformed by the Lord.
