He is risen! He is risen, indeed! Jesus Christ is alive and working through the ministry of Teen Missions and MSSM. As the Easter season has come and gone, our ministry is striving to keep the miraculous work of Jesus Christ at the forefront of everything we do. The ministry of MSSM has seen the Lord move in the lives of many people who attend the Sunday School program and as we move on from the Easter season we want to be sure we do not forget the reason our ministry started. Our ministry is founded upon the Lord Jesus Christ and the sacrifice He made on the cross for the entire world, and as a global ministry we feel the importance of reaching to all people groups, and to those Christ shed His precious blood for. We hope these stories are uplifting and draw you near to the cross this month.

BLESSINGS MEMORIAL SUNDAY SCHOOL

It is so encouraging to watch the Lord take the reigns and work in the lives of so many people through this Sunday School. Our Literacy Class has grown so much. Msekere, a small girl aged 8 has been a top scorer in standard 2 because she managed to write the Alphabet letters without any problem because she has been learning a lot at our Sunday School. In addition to this almost everybody, who comes for Sunday school has passed the English class during their Exams. The Sunday School lesson of this month has helped a lot of people to grow in their spiritual life, and has instilled a fearing heart and mind toward sin by seeing the examples of what happened to the Israelites who committed acts of sin before God. Mr. Phiri, the teacher of our local primary school and he told us about a girl who attends the school named Chinsinsi. At first she was rude and disrespectful to her parents and she stole from people. But she has accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior and the Sunday School lesson of this month has changed her behavior. Her teacher, Mr. Phiri, told us that she is a completely changed girl and her attitude towards life has changed drastically. We got to see the Lord work in five lives this month and save them from the darkness and bondage of sin. Those five souls are now living for Jesus Christ and we are excited about the work God is doing in them. Quizzing has also been very successful. We have managed to help our group memorize six verses from the pack, number 1-6, and this last week we had a review of them all. We have seen the importance of keeping the Word of God in their heart and watching the effectiveness of His Word when evangelizing. We are confident that God is faithful and He will complete the work He has begun in our ministry.

MT. ZION MISSION SS/ BOB UHRIG PAVILION

Attendance at Quizzing, Sunday School and Literacy Classes has been consistent and continually a blessing as we are challenged everyday by the Lord. The positive effect our Sunday School has had on the local community and the villagers is exciting. This week in Phonics class the children learned how to make sentences and how to put some common words in those sentences. We had words like, play, pray, school, they and many other common words. This is helping many kids understand how to connect sentences as they learn to speak English. Sunday School was very fun this month. The most interesting lesson for this month was kinder 2/4. {Jesus died for me}. Children were very touched to learn how Jesus was persecuted and beaten on their behalf. Through this lesson many children have made the decision to receive Jesus as their Lord; two people have come to Christ this month. Catch the flag game was the most loved game this month. Through this game they have learned how to protect and defend their faith. We were inspired by one boys testimony and we would like to share it with you.

Godwin has just started coming to our classes, when we asked him why he started coming, he told us this story. One day he was going to play football as he was playing around the field he saw something on the field. Right in that very field he found a verse from the Quizzing verse packets, he showed it to his friends and they directed him to our Sunday School. God showed us the importance of trusting Him with bringing children to us. Thank you all for being so faithful in your giving and praying; it has helped further the kingdom of God.

We have the privilege of educating and training up all those who come to our Literacy and Sunday School Classes. In Literacy Class, we sometimes ask questions of the students to see if they are getting what we teach them. We see that even the young ones are able to say the sound of the letters from the Alphabet with ease. Asiyatu is a little girl, aged 5, but her age does not stop her; whenever you ask her to sing alphabet song she always says it perfectly. One of the teachers here was teaching the story of Achan and what he did. But before he started telling them the heading of the lesson one boy came in front and said “we did this lesson and I can tell my friend.” The teacher was so uplifted that the boy had learned the story and was excited about telling his friend what he learned. God is so good to us here and by the grace of God, things will happen this year through your prayers and support.

The Lord God is gracious and always provides for the needs of His children. God has provided for our Sunday School in so many areas this past month. Literacy class is continuing to grow. On average we have more than 70 and kids that attend, and they like the class. We even make small groups with the leaders to help us teach the children, this method helps us to reduce the noise in classes.Quizzing has been very fun! We have very good quizzers, sometimes we have a gift to share with those who are doing an excellent job with their verses. We have had a good turn out for teachers Training this month. We have more than 10 teachers and all of them are faithful with their training, and he come every day to the class. We have a good story from one of our teachers his name is Medson. He told us that since he came to Sunday School to teach, people call him a pastor because he is always sharing the word of God at school. He has also started the first Christian organization at the government school. We couldn’t be more grateful to God for sending the MSSM ministry to us.

BERNARD & DORIS CLYMER SUNDAY SCHOOL

What a difference the community is seeing as a result of this Sunday School. The villagers are very appreciative of the ministry and the work God is doing in their lives. We are so thankful for hearing the result of last terms exams for our kids. It is such an encouragement to us because it showed us that the work we are doing here is of the Lord and He is making a difference through our work in the lives of the children that are attending. The lessons taught in Sunday School are challenging to some children and we can see the children seeking guidance from God’s Word as a result of the lessons. The children enjoy game time so much, it is a time of enjoyment for the kids and they get excited when it’s time for games. We praise God for what is doing in helping the children and we are grateful to you who have given out of your hearts and spoken on our behalf to the Lord.

HOLLIS RICHER MEMORIAL SS/ GRACE BIBLE PAVILION

We serve a God full of grace and mercy. What a difference the community is seeing as a result of this Sunday School. At this location we have seen the Literacy program flourish and help the local people grow in their understanding of the different letters in the Alphabet. The best class which was simple for them to grasp was the [busy E] we took ample time to train them in order for them to fully understand the concept of the busy E and what does. We are happy that this class has helped them to improve in their English vocabulary and some are now eloquent in simple English. A lot of people who come for Sunday School are from the Roman Catholic Church, unfortunately the youth are not given the chance to share the Word of God with others. It was hard for them to learn how they can share the gospel until they came to Sunday School classes. Sunday School has been the benefitted many people because they are learning the Word of God, and being challenged daily to testify of Gods love to their churches and their homes. Witman is a boy that told us he has always admired when people are able to stand in front of others and share the word of God. We said to him that the first step to achieving this is to accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior. He accepted Christ and now he is able to pray on his own and able to read the Bible, he is such an inspiration to us all here. The Teachers Training at this location is still in progress, this last week we completed a lesson and we have seen the men and women who attend grow and change into men and women of God ready to disciple and train up the next generation. We had 14 people make a profession of faith this past month and we are so grateful to God for the generous blessing you have showered upon us here. Thank you for helping us spread the hope of Jesus to those in need.

WELLMAN SS OF HOPE & FAITH/ WORDS OF LIFE PAVILION

Literacy class this month has brought marvelous impact to many kids. We are singing the Lord’s Praises right now for the 22 people have surrendered their lives to Christ this month and ask for your prayers that they will continue to grow in the Lord. Pilirani is a girl who was very shy and couldn’t share the gospel. The Sunday school classes have sharpened her and she is able to share the scripture, able also to teach the young ones. She is becoming zealous with the words of God, she also organized a group of children for a choir of whom she is the choir director. She is singing with her group and the songs are so edifying and many youth are flocking to this group called “Grace and Happiness choir.” At this unit girls were behind so much in terms of English writing, speaking and pronouncing of English words. But the good news is that we have produced 12 girls who are able to speak and write good English through phonics class. For instance one girl Monica has been appointed by her school to go for kids parliament where she will represent her school. She will debate with other school kids in English. This is the fruit of this class, we hope to produce more next month. This month Sunday school has done a tremendous work, many kids (over 60) are attending the Sunday school. It is also encouraging seeing the big girls attending the classes. The lesson of this month has helped the children in our class who were naughty and rude; They were noisy in class and they fought with each other, but now they have learned that God doesn’t delight in disobedient children. One of the boys here named David was very naughty. He had been smoking secretly and even drinking alcoholic beers. One day during Sunday school, the lesson tackled this issue of substance abuse. We talked about boozing and smoking. He was convinced and surrendered his life to Christ. He revealed all what he was doing, We prayed for him and assured him “that the past has gone in those who live in Christ” He is completely changed. Many kids like games, especially when we involve ourselves into the games, this enabled us all to grow closer. The quizzing for this month has been very good because many preteens were able to be involved themselves. They all did very well in memory work and are able to teach their friends who are still behind with their verses. We want to close with this inspiring story of a women who rose out of the ashes of her past. We are so thankful to the Almighty for assisting Jesse, a young woman aged 32 who has become one of our Sunday school teachers. Her life has been one hardship after another. She said she was once impregnated by a man who ran to south Africa and denied her. She has a daughter aged 6 named Debrah. When she started attending the Sunday school she was full of distress and frustration, we prayed with her and encouraged her that though she was forsaken by the man, there is only one man (Christ) who will not forsake her, she is now a good convert and is living a life with Jesus Christ. Thank you supporters for all you do in helping us share the love of Jesus.

In this month we had nice time to gather our kids and teach them how to read and write. Literacy class is made up of all ages, since this area many people are used to go to the lake for fishing and traditional dance. For these reasons many remained ignorant especially at school. therefore they didn’t go further with school, some never attend school but with the introduction of literacy class, people are helped much. One person that helped with phonics is Panganani age 18 a boy who now can read a sentence from a passage in the Bible. He is happy and has made a commitment to come to classes. We are happy to have the Sunday School program here. This program gives us the privilege of sharing different Bible stories with kids and elders. This class is benefiting everyone very much because we are reaching many people who were not even attending Church services; 3 people started going to Church through the Lords work through our Sunday School this month. We are happy to testify what the Lord is doing in the heart of a boy named Benjamin. He is one of our volunteers who normally come to the classes and attend different ones especially on Sunday School. Spiritually he was a young Christian but because he works hard on coming to Sunday School lessons, now he is no longer young because God is using him so very much. He works hard even at his Church, and he is doing affective work in Youth group and Church ministry. 53 people made a profession of Christ last month and we are so blessed by this miraculous work of the Lord. Games is another part which also attracts many kids to come. We tell them in order to play a game we have to first teach them lessons. Games also play a big role of preventing kids to get involved in obscene group gambling instead they come closer to God. Quizzing attendance was very good up to no less than 16. Amongst the group 6 were doing good because they once boot camp.

It is so exciting to see the difference that Sunday school is making since we started in this village. The Sunday School lessons we teach have helped many kids in this location. In our Sunday School class all the students have finished level one, we are happy because of these students and we believe that in the future we will have many teachers. We thank God because of Chikumbutso. He is one of our students from our Sunday School teachers training, this guy was not coming frequently to Sunday School, but from the time he started attending Teachers Training classes he has been coming every day of Sunday school and he has made his friends come with him. Concerning Literacy classes. This month children have been doing school and we thank God because of how the kids have been coming frequently to attend Sunday School classes. We praise the Lord because of the lessons we have been teaching the kids and they have enjoyed learning how to write in cursive; many kids have been attending this class. Chisomo is a boy who used to give us problems during class time, but now we are very happy because he has ceased from giving us problems, he is even a giving good example to the other kids in class. It is evident that God is at work here and His Spirit is softening the hearts of many toward His gospel. MSSM has truly affected out region and we cannot express the gratitude we feel for you all who have supported the ministry.

KING OF GLORY PSALM 24:8 SUNDAY SCHOOL

We praise the Lord for the great privilege of having Sunday School. Many people appreciate the Sunday School and how the kids are growing in the Word of God. We had this child named Lafae, this child was having problems in reading and writing. Because of Literacy classes he has improved in these things, his parents are excited because he knows how to write and read. Literacy class has become more affective to many people at his location because of the teaching they are receiving. Game time has helped us strengthen our children. The children are happy with the games that we play and it has also helped to bring more children here. There is man called Mr. Mwale, he is a good man, but the problem was that he was not going to church for his own personal problems. After he started attending Sunday School he saw the importance of attending classes and going to church. Mr. Mwale has started going to church and has faithfully attended classes here. We want to announce the salvation of 10 souls won for Jesus Christ this month. We could not be more excited about the many people who has decided to forsake all and live for Christ. Before coming to Christ Mr. Male spent most of his time sleeping with women and drinking alcohol, but after he came to Sunday School, he decided to stop doing those wicked acts. He is now strictly following God, and goes to church to worship the Lord and fellowship with other believers.

TENT FOR THE UPRIGHT PROVERB 14:11 SUNDAY SCHOOL

We thank God each day for the MSSM program here. We praise God for enabling us to minister to the people around us in such a consistent way. Five children came to Christ this month and we pray they stay strong in His Word. Concerning Literacy class, we are very excited. This location had many children who knew nothing about writing and reading, but now we report with confidence because it is now a location which has many kids who can read and write very well. There is one child who has benefitted a lot from Sunday School, the reason was he came to classes because his friends were coming. But after attending a few classes he realized he needed to come and learn more about things, so he maintained attendance and we have enjoyed watching the lord work in his life.

Here are a couple other amazing testimonies to the work of God here.

SPRING OF LIVING WATER SUNDAY SCHOOL

We are happy to report about the successes of MSSM here at our Sunday School. It is true that the work is much and the harvest is plentiful. We have come to understand that in MSSM, and we are finding it is true. We look at the work God is doing and know that He will use this Sunday School to further His kingdom. Literacy class in Simavu went well this month, they enjoyed the ‘Copy Cats’ class and we hope everybody who attended is now eager to learn more about the Literacy class. It is such a wonderful thing that the children of this location are finding the hope that is Jesus Christ here. Some children are coming from Muslim homes, and they have expressed that they are so excited to learn about Jesus and what he has done for them. We give all honor to God for the 13 people that came to Christ this last month. In Quizzing they did very good, and this month they surprised the teacher because every body was eager to Quiz and to say all of the verses they have learned. Blessings is a boy, age 10, who loves the Sunday School classes, but before he came to classes he was failing phonics and could not say the phonics sounds. After working with him and teaching him the proper sounds he is now able to say the entire alphabet. We thanks God for giving him wisdom so that he can start doing good. We want to share another story about a life transformed by the Lord through the MSSM program is about a girl named Alick. She used to be a troublesome girl in class; she used to grab things from her friends and she made noise in class. This month we went early to classes and we called her to talk to her. We asked her why she makes noise and why she behaves the way she did. She promised to change her behavior and we appreciated her willing attitude. Now she is behaving differently even the parents have noticed her change in attitude and outlook.

DEFENDER OF LIFE PSALM 27:1 SUNDAY SCHOOL

At this particular location the Sunday school has drawn interest from people of all ages and backgrounds. Our Sunday School class is very important to everyone that comes. Sunday School lessons at this location were very helpful this month. Many kids did not know or understand the truth about Jesus Christ but bit by bit we told them about Him. Through this understanding 16 people have come to know Christ. Quizzing has also been a way for us to reach the people here and touch their hearts with the truth of God’s Word. Quizzing was successful and we had many children attend that were ready and willing to get the Word into their hearts. Senzani is a life transformed by Jesus Christ. Compared with the way he was prior to attending Sunday School he has completely changed. He was practicing evil things such as beating his friends. But when MSSM started going to the location of near him, he decided to receive Christ as his personal Lord and savior. From that time on he stopped beating his friends and active evil. We thank God for the turn around in Senzani’s life. We also thank you supporters for your diligence to the Lord in giving to us.

BEAUTIFUL CROWN ISAIAH 28:5 SUNDAY SCHOOL

What a difference MSSM is making here! We had 12 kids receive Christ. Teachers Training has been effective, we praise God that He is giving us attendants every week. There are also many kids who are doing good teaching in their local Churches. Literacy class has also been very effective. It has been a successful class here because we have many kids who are doing good in terms of speaking English and writing. We have a testimony about two kids who are now speaking English because of this class, their names are Wishes and Faith. These two kids are an example to their friends, and they are showing them that they too can excel in learning Literacy. We are so glad at this location because of the Sunday School lessons, they have been a real success. Many kids have decided to accept Christ to be their personal Savior, we have had 16 kids come to Christ this last month. When James started coming to our Sunday School, he was practicing evil things like not respecting his parents and rejecting to do the job which he was been given to do. But after attending classes here, he is a changed person. James received Christ, and Christ is directing his life and we are so happy for the many things God is doing. Games played a great role in the teaching of different classes. This is because many kids enjoy different games, and God used the games to bring more children here. We give praise to the Lord for all of you and for the many blessings you have gifted us with.

WAY OF UNDERSTANDING POVERBS 9:6 SUNDAY SCHOOL

We are excited to see the way God is using our Sunday School to change many lives. Literacy class has been wonderful, mainly because it has encouraged many kids to start doing good in their schools. We have seen the fruit of the class and the best example is Chisomo. She is now able to speak English after struggling for a long time to grasp the vowel sounds. It is our great pleasure to report on the progress of Sunday School classes. In this month we experienced a great number of kids attending the class, and this has given us a proof that kids are enjoying the class and benefiting a lot from it. This month God has enabled us to bring 23 kids to Christ, we rejoice in His saving grace! Quizzing has given us a very big hope at this location that we will have many quizzers this month because there was a competition between two of the kids who participate. Teachers Training went very well and we enjoyed it. Mrs Kankhokwe, the wife of the village chief, was not able to read or write. She started attending Literacy class and has improved so much that she is able to read and even write. She was so excited and she testified that now she will be able to read a Bible alone. She is also eager to continue to learn and she gives thanks to God for the classes which she is taking. Neliah is a woman who likes the classes of Sunday School and she told us that the coming of Sunday School in her village has been a great thing because she is able to learn more about God’s Word through the program. Thank you all for your steadfast prayer and faithful support, we thank Jesus for all you are doing for us here.

We know that God will always be faithful when we seek to do His will above all else. We have seen the children here doing very well in their studies; even the teachers are very appreciative of what the Sunday School has done in our community. Kabwe, age 13, could not even write his name when he started to come to Sunday School, but now he is able to read and write. Also many more kids are doing fine besides him. We have a personal experience story to share with you from one of our Circuit Riders. “It was Thursday morning and I was feeling weak on the 8th of March. What was on my mind was that maybe it is because I got soaked with rain while riding my bike on mud. It was around 8 hours and I was with this kid. I was starting off to Nyambala for Sunday School programs and the road was slippery and watery. Riding on slippery roads you have to use strength. So I was applying much strength to hold the hand bar. I had travelled almost 12 k’s and was deep in the bush with the kid who cannot ride a bike. I started feeling cold and I knew this is nothing but malaria. That is how I had to return. I prayed all of the way. It was very difficult. And God helped to reach home because I was praying. I went to the clinic and they had no malaria medicine. The headache had started. I just asked God, “Let your will be done.” But one health worker is a good friend and what he did is he used his phone to call another clinic to see if they have malaria drugs. By God’s grace they had and he said, “Please give anyone who comes to this place a course for malaria.” It was about 15 k’s to that clinic . Fortunately, I got the medicine in about 3 hours. Only God can do such a miracle. Without Him I don’t know what would have happened to my life. Thank you, God.” As the rainy season continues we ask for your prayers for our Circuit Riders as they trek through the mud to reach each Sunday School. We can’t thank you enough for your steadfast support and prayers, without you all and God we could not be reaching the many we do, thank you.

It is our prayer that God shall see us through in everything we are doing to bring many into His kingdom as we expect more from God for His guidance and divine will to be done. We want to tell you about a man that was truly impacted by the MSSM ministry here. His name is Donodie, he is widely known as the Stone-hearted Man by the local villagers. He used to oppose everything in the Bible no matter how much you taught him and when he came to Sunday School lessons, confusion would be present. Sometimes people would get angry at him to the extent of chasing him, and they didn’t like that he would come regularly and ask questions that were not appropriate; some even said it seemed like he was of the underworld. But the truth is, the Lord was planting something good in his life through his coming to classes. One day the power of God was upon our Sunday School, and our Circuit Rider was teaching two things from the book of Philippians 1:21. It was simple but powerful and the man had a question about it. I said that Paul is saying “ to live is Christ,” Our rider asked “what about all of us here, does this apply?” He then moved on to talk about how Paul was living a perfect life and God was protecting him, it was a difficult life but he was with God. Next, he taught that “to die is gain”. People started to ask questions, then Donodie asked “what shall I do? My life is not ok.” We all thought he was joking. He said, “I am serious.” We then gave an invitation for him to receive Jesus Christ and told him that Jesus will tell you what to do with your life. Everyone was amazed and he was so thankful and we were all thanking God for this amazing blessing. He is coming up now in the Word of God and we are seeing Donodie change everyday, Praise God!

When we hear from God he expects us to understand His Word and see us grow in our spiritual life. It is so encouraging, interesting and wonderful to see fruits coming from the lives we are touching. In so many different ways people are getting their knowledge of the Lord. Our Circuit rider was coming from Nymbala going to Mwemwe. The distance is about 9 kilometers an he had traveled about 3 to 4 k’s when he heard a noise in the small trees and then they shook. He stopped, looked up, and saw 6 elephants coming in front of the road. He asked himself if he was dreaming, then he realized that it was indeed real. He thought it would be best to stand very still. The one that was leading looked straight where he was and reared. It was about 600 meters and the road was slippery. Our Rider said this about the encounter, “ I can’t ride fast. Then it reared the second time and turned back. They started moving and they were moving very fast. I waited about 5 minutes and started the bike and reached Mwemwe safely.” After sharing the story, in two hours time this story reached every corner of Mwemwe. According to villagers these elephants do pass annually and they take the same route. They will come back after 3 months, using the same route. We thank God for His protection. It is true that taking the Gospel is not an easy work but we will never stop doing it, and nothing shall be able to separate us from the love of God. Amen.

What a blessing the MSSM ministry has been for our village and surrounding areas. We are also honored to have a part in seeing souls come to know Jesus Christ. At Chiwala, we have a registered boy by the name of Innocent who is supposed to be in grade 8 this year. What happened to him is his father died when he was not yet born and his mother died on the 16th of March. His life has been hard ever since the death of his mother and one of the greatest needs is that he may go back to school. He is 15 years old. We pray that he will be able to attend school sometime soon. We have kids who are only 2 years of age attending MSSM lessons. One of the interesting things is that 10 of them are learning the Flip Chart (alphabet) in Phonics class. The parents are giving thanks for the MSSM program and appreciating Teen Missions for this opportunity for their young children. Thank you very much, dear Sponsors.

What a difference MSSM is making here! We have seen the amazing glory of God this month and our classes have been a blessing and we are seeing a change in the people here. Here is an amazing story from our Circuit Rider. “Last month I experienced a puncture wound. I was coming from Mwemwe and every first Friday of the month we do visit the old people and because of the planting I reached Wangibisha late and thought that I would find they are gone. I forgot that it was the first Friday of the month. Before I reached the shelter they were singing at the top of their voices to welcome us. After they heard the sound of the bike, they came and asked me what time we were going for visitation. I said next week because I am tired (from the work on the bike) but the kids said no we arranged the names of the homes where we are going to visit. We visited 6 homes and 3 people gave their lives to Jesus. We also had our lessons that day. Kids were very happy and I was happy, too, to have kids like them. And we helped 2 homes to clean their surroundings and fetched water for them. I am happy because the kids are able to share the Word of God to the adults. But I was happy to see the kids coming and the Spirit of God is moving in their lives.” What a unique way to share to gospel and the love of Jesus with others. The children’s favorite lesson is “Some families are like this,” their favorite verse was: II Cor 6: 18, and their favorite game is, of course, still soccer. Thank you Teen Missions for this ministry. We see lives are being touched on many levels. God bless you and your supporters.

Our Sunday School Lessons are continuing to open the eyes of the children. People are really being helped spiritually as the Word of God gets into hearts. We had 73 children attend Sunday School Lessons, 73 come to Literacy Classes and 10 strong children for Quizzing. We are so excited about the wonderful things in store for this Sunday School, and we know that it is with your prayers and support that we are able to move in our community. We also thank God for providing us with such faithful supporters like you.

GATEWAY FELLOWSHIP SCHOOL

Throughout our service, what pleases our hearts most is when we have a lot of kids coming to Sunday School. The Lord blessed us with 254 children this month. It simply shows us how interesting the Word of God is becoming in the lives of these people. The kids have continued to show interest in learning the Word of God despite the rainy weather. Thank God the children here are so encouraging to our souls. 117 people attended Literacy CLasses this month and we were so blessed to see how much they are learning. We were excited to see 43 attendees for Quizzing, they are doing very well and we couldn’t be more overjoyed about these children getting the Word of God into their hearts. Some of the kids bring snacks from their homes for the long walk. We have encouraged them to sit in groups and share with their friends so they can fellowship. This has been happening over the last 4 weeks now. They enjoy eating what ever they have brought. Through this they are developing kindness and love toward one another. We are pleased to see every kid be able to memorize all 10 commandments of the Bible. The children here sing good songs of praise and worship and it felt so good to see them growing. 72 kids came forward to give their lives to Jesus. Praise God for what He is doing in this place.

SUN VALLEY C.U. SUNDAY SCHOOL

For the last 4 weeks it has been a great challenge at this location because of a disaster of the bridges. The Sunday School location is located at the middle where kids from two different sides would cross the stream. Unfortunately one of the bridges was carried away and the other one is full such that the little kids would not cross. On the 8th, three of our kids almost drowned in the water as they waited to cross using the log that was left on the bridge. Thank God two old men were behind them and they rescued the kids. But despite all these challenges the kids have continued to show up to classes. The children are very much willing to learn. We believe that God will make a way and show mercy to these little kids. This is another place where almost every day, we have a convert. Surely their lives are changing. Now many are able to pray; we have even had a day when the kids asked our Circuit Rider if they could have no teaching but instead spend the whole time praying. They spent a long time praying that day and we had a couple of kids pray for safety, some prayed for their friends and some for provisions. It was really a blessed day. We had 143 attend Sunday School, 174 hungry to learn how to better their english skills and 28 ready and willing to commit God’s Word to their memory through Quizzing.

J. LEE STEELE MEMORIAL SUNDAY SCHOOL

God our Father is mighty and so gracious in our lives. Lives that were in darkness now have the Light of the Lord. Just like some other places where there are no schools and clinics, our area is one of those. This is one of the biggest Sunday Schools in this circuit. Things are happening at this location. It is always exciting to hear the voices of these kids singing awesomely to the Lord. And also the community school we started is growing. The community in the woods are so excited with the idea. Mrs Chakalashi, Alice, has been of great help to the ministry. She voluntarily continues to teach the kids during the course of the week just to help these children learn something in school. The little shelter we made as a Sunday School classroom is always full. We have about 180 kids all together at this location that are very eager to learn. These little kids seem to be very intelligent but they did not have a school. God of mercy is always with us and we hope that the school will continue to develop. We also have a good quizzing team of about 10 kids. It is amazing that these kids don’t want our Circuit Rider to teach them the verses in the local language but in English which they are just learning. It is so exciting! We are requesting more of your prayers. The rains are making things very very difficult. This week again we have experienced heavy rains making it difficult to even reach at this location. The streams to cross are flooded and our Rider has to use a longer route, but to his encouragement there were kids already waiting for him. There are many kids who come to Sunday School 404 last month, Literacy Class attendance was 278 and we had 57 attend Quizzing. We are thankful for the ministry of Teen Missions, Int’l and we are blessed by your support so that we can go to these places.

VIRGIL BIXLER MEMORIAL/ RON GROS PAVILLION

Putting on the full armor of God is what we are all challenged to do. In serving the Lord we meet a lot of challenges. It requires the heart of prayer, love, righteousness, peace and the power of the Holy Spirt to make us strong. Sometime ago some people contacted our Circuit Rider and asked him to stop bringing confusion to the area. As it turns out he was saying that his daughters were not obeying him. One of the other students was standing there and quoted Eph 6:1. He said to the father that we are taught to obey. Then the father explained that his daughters refuse to buy him beer and marijana anymore. It grows in the local fields. Another mother told our rider something similar. He had to tell them they will obey if you tell them to do the right things. Last week the father came with a big bruise on his head. He was asking for help. This man confessed that he was reaping what he was sowing. He said after selling five 25 kg bags of nuts he decided to go drinking. On his way back he was attacked while he was drunk. He was beaten and the same people took away some of his money. He said now he understands why his children would refuse to go and buy him beer because it is bad to drink. He shared the Gospel with this man and then treated his wound. He invited our rider to go and share the Word with his wife and some other family members. The people at this location are mostly drunkards. This has been holding a lot of people’s lives in captivity. But God is changing things through this ministry. Sunday School has been such a huge catalyst for growth, this growth has been seen on the lives of the 301 children that came this last month. The 40 Quizzing students are so eager to do their memory verses, and they don’t even want to rest when they come for classes. Most of the 148 kids in literacy classes have improved so much compared to what they used to be able to do. Thank you, Sponsors, for what you are doing here. God bless you.

LIVING BY FAITH MINISTRY CHOIR/ ROSE SIMS PAVILLION

The begging of this year has so far been good. God has been so faithful again to bring growth to the ministry and it is in numbers and in the lives of the people, we see growth. We felt so encouraged that some people asked if we could just start a church in the area. This happened when we took a group of children to the funeral of Benjamin, a small boy who passed away from malaria. The kids sang good songs of worship and then our Circuit Rider shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ at the grave site. The people liked the presentation from the kids and the preaching. The mother to the deceased said though Benjamin was young but he knew God because he always asked her to pray at meal times and at bed times. She said, “I believe my boy is with God.” Thank God she also gave her life to the Lord. Malaria has been and is very dangerous disease and a lot of people are dying especially in the rural area. They sleep without mosquito nets. It was sad to lose Benjamin who used to come for Sunday School with his older sister. But his death brought salvation to his mother. She feared that if her little boy could die, it may also come to her. The numbers here are growing and it is very interesting to see this. This shows how profitable this ministry is to the community because so many kids are getting saved. Thank you to all of our supporters for your help here. God bless you.

We praise the Lord for all of the opportunities He gives to us and for His goodness and mercy that is always with us. We want to report to you the amazing numbers we had this last month. Praise God for bringingWe had the opportunity to do village visitations with some kids for evangelism and strengthening some believers. On the 11th we visited the home of a lady who had 10 children. Her name is Bana Enoch. Her first born son is lame. She said her children have not been going to Sunday School. But we spoke with them all and three of them gave their lives to Jesus. The kids that were with me shared and sang and she was very happy to have the visit. She said that her husband left her last year when she was pregnant. Her new baby boy is the 10th born of her children. They have named him Abraham. She had become very discouraged and as a Christian she had stopped praying. She became a believer when the Sunday School first came to this area. She rededicated her life to Jesus this month and the last two weeks her three children who asked to receive Jesus have been attending the Sunday School. The Sunday School kids during their visit also helped to maintain the lady’s roof on her house. We are thankful that God is working in this lady’s family. Thank you for helping us to help others.

It’s a new year and God is presenting us with new plans, goals and ministry opportunities. We are excited to announce that we have reached our goal of 111 Sunday Schools. God has now placed a new goal in our sights; 212 Sunday Schools by 12/12/12. Tom and Linda Maher have traveled to Madagascar to set up two new MSSM circuits. There are six individual Sunday Schools in one complete circuit, so a total of 12 Sunday Schools will be starting out of the two circuits in Madagascar. The Maher’s have already purchased two motorcycles and a copy machine that will make it possible for them to reproduce Sunday School material from our CD that contains all of the materials needed. Bob Bland, our director, states that this particular region in Madagascar is an extremely needy area steeped in witchcraft and darkness and is in dire need of the Light of the Gospel. Our goal is to bring the Light through these 12 Sunday Schools. They will be like 12 candles shining bright through the spiritual darkness of that area. We will keep you all updated on what’s happening with the two new Madagascar Circuits in the months to come. We are confident that God is faithful and He will complete the work He has begun in our ministry for His Glory and Honor.

“And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” – Philippians 1:6

We have not received our reports from Malawi for the month of January, so we decided to share with you some of the inspiring stories from our other MSSM Sunday Schools all around the world.

Here are a couple stories from our MSSM in Zambia. They are a testament to God’s Faithfulness.

SUN VALLEY C.U. SUNDAY SCHOOL

Praise and honor be to our God and Father for His love and mercy. As 2012 comes, our expectations are high, believing that God is going to see us through. Our Sunday School teaching has been so helpful to the community as many have accepted Jesus as their Savior and some now know how to read and write. A lot of kids know God’s Word and their lives are being changed. Everything to them is exciting. MSSM lessons, quizzing and games have been so interesting to the children that come. The kids are growing up in their prayer lives. Martin and Grace – both from one family, among others, have learned how to pray to God Almighty. Marjory explained that her kids really surprised her because they have disciplined themselves to pray. She explained that through the prayers of her kids, none of them have been sick from malaria or any other diseases. She testified that her children used to get sick often, but now she knows this God is truly mighty because He has been protecting them and keeping them safe. Many people who are in bondage with the enemy have seen the power of the true God. Nkulumashiba is one of the unreached areas in Zambia. By His grace through the ministry of MSSM many lives have been touched. Last year in this village many people were saved. This year it is our prayer that many people will be touch and be converted to Christ. This year I believe God we will do an even greater work through His strength, that many lives will be transformed.

JESUS LOVES CHILDREN SUNDAY SCHOOL

In December six kids from Kapepa attended the Lord’s Boot Camp for the first time. These kids were all from our quizzing class and all learned a lot. Boot Camp is now over and they all came back with new attitudes sharing with their friends everything they had learned. They have really improved in quizzing and can recite their verses easily. Gift, age 14, is one of these kids. She has been sharing her Boot Camp experiences with family members. She recites her verses at home as a way of sharing the Gospel to the members of her family. She explained that Acts 4:12 and Isaiah 41:10 were her favorite verses. She now believes in Salvation and trusts God will see her through. Luis, age 15, also explained that he’s finding it interesting to recite memory verses to his Father who has been drinking for so long. Last week when Luis recited and explained Matthew 11:28-30 to his father he was really touched. He believes for the change in his father’s life. Not only do these kids recite verses, but also they are now encouraging others to join SS classes. All glory to God!

This next story comes from one of our Sunday Schools in Cameroon.

THE BIBLE QUIZ FELLOWSHIP CIRCUIT

2011 has come and gone this past year we saw the Lord work miracles in the lives of so many though our Sunday School. The MSSM ministry has proven that God can rescue lives despite the attacks of the enemy and we saw His mighty hand on us during the hard times we encountered. We saw several lives effected by the large fire outbreak at the nearby area. We also had a motorbike accident that involved a child, no one got severely hurt but it scared the child and reminded us all of how quickly people can get injured out here in the bush. So far 2012 has been a year full of learning, growing and stretching of faith, and we can’t wait to see what God has in store for us the rest of this year.

The last stories we want to share are from our half circuit in Malawi.

WELLMAN SS OF HOPE & FAITH

It is so encouraging to watch the Lord take the reigns and work in the lives of so many people through this Sunday School. Our Literacy Class has grown so much. Many children now know how to pronounce many sounds of letters. This has become an important class because many children are now able to combine some words on their own. Even parents and teachers have recommended them and have seen a big improvement. For example, many children were failing to say this word “example,” but now many children are using it. A girl called Prisca, 12 years old has attended our Sunday School faithfully for quite some time now. One day after we finished teaching the Sunday School lesson she came to a Circuit Rider and said she has been listening to many Sunday School lessons, but the lesson of that day “our helper when we fail” has lifted her up in her spiritual life. Prisca says that God spoke to her and the lesson reminded her that God is her strength. We want to Praise God for the many lives that are being saved. Almost every week we have two or three people accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. All praise to Him!

The positive effect our Sunday School has had on the local community and the villagers is exciting. The chief of the village encouraged us saying that from the moment we started MSSM in his village, children have completely changed. He continued to say that prior to our arrival children in his village were known for only evil songs and evil games. But now when they chart, it’s no longer evil, they chart Bible stories. When they sing, he now hears only christian, phonics and alphabet songs. He is so thankful and grateful that our Sunday School is in this village. We are also joyful over being here and being able to effect the lives of so many with the Gospel of Christ. God moved in the life of Chisomo Banda through the classes taught at Sunday School. He explained to us that he was a good fighter at school and home, but now he is a new creation in Jesus. Chisomo said his favorite verse is Psalm 51:10 “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” He loves that verse because he knows that God created a new heart and creation when he was saved.

Precious has also learned word pronunciation and can now read some English words. Quizzing has also proven to be very beneficial. The children are now able to say John 3:14-16 all by themselves. Evance is a boy who has attended Sunday School lessons on a regular basis, but he was one of the children that liked to cause trouble. Evance would purposefully confuse his friends while they tried to learn and would disrupt the class often. But through prayer, God is changing him little by little. We have seen glimpses of obedience and it’s very encouraging. What an amazing God we are privileged to serve.

THE BIBLE QUIZ FELLOWSHIP CURCUIT

IN HIS STEPS SUNDAY SCHOOL

This month we have seen our Sunday School program impact many children. 42 children have been consistently showing up to each Sunday School lesson and we have watched them grow in the Lord and in their studies every time they come. It has been so exciting to see them memorizing scripture, learning their ABC’s and growing spiritually through the Bible Lessons taught. We praise the Lord for all He is accomplishing here. Glory to Him!

HIS LITTLE ONES SUNDAY SCHOOL

We are experiencing growth and consistency in attendance here. 34 are now coming to Sunday School. Each child brings something different and unique to our classes and we thank God for working in the hearts of these little ones. The MSSM ministry has been a huge blessing to the local village and community around us we couldn’t be more grateful to God for sending us the MSSM program

MT. ZION SUNDAY SCHOOL

We thank God for everything. His guidance and leadership to see us through has been steady and unchanging. We praise him for the work he has done in our classes being taught. As more children are coming more growth is happening. 34 attend our Sunday School lessons and these 34 are becoming stronger in the skills taught. They all love to play the games and enjoy the chance to get out and play with the friends they have made here at Sunday School. We pray that God continues to grow our Sunday School so that more can hear the Gospel message of hope. Many have yet to hear the Good News of Jesus and we pray for the Lord to our Sunday School in the spreading of His Gospel

TELLING THE TRUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL

The Holy Spirit has moved through our community and brought us many people to disciple and minister to. The people surrounding our Sunday School are hungry for the Word of God and need the joy it brings. It’s incredible to think that Almighty God is using our Sunday School to bring joy and hope to the lost and dying people around us. We are staying steadfast with the teaching and memorizing of Scripture, quizzing, phonics crafts. The children that come to our Sunday School are challenged to share what they learn with their loved ones and we have seen many people come to our SUnday School through the children sharing what happens at each Lesson. We know God is going to shower us with so many blessing this year and we thank Him for all He is completing through the MSSM ministry.

WELLSMAN SS OF GOD’S CHILDREN

Attendance at Quizzing, Sunday School and Literacy Classes has been consistent and continually a blessing as we are challenged everyday by the Lord. The positive effect our Sunday School has had on the local community and the villagers is exciting.

WELLMAN SS OF ALL GOD’S CHILDREN

This past month we were excited to see God move in the life of Precious. Our Literacy Class has benefited Precious so much. He used to struggle with combining words, but is now able to combine words with ease and skill.

WELLMAN SS OF HOPE & FAITH

We want to share with you how much God has been working through MSSM and reaching the Muslim population surrounding the Hope and Faith Sunday School. From the moment we began our Sunday school we have seen God working in the life of all the children who come. Many children that attend our Sunday School are born into Muslim families. We thank God for moving in the hearts of the parents so that the children can come to Sunday School. We are excited to see that many of the children are understanding who Jesus is and through the many Bible stories we tell, they are understanding the nature of our Lord. God is continually using this Sunday School to impact the local villager’s lives and we are humbled that He uses us to accomplish His Glory.
